There has always been controversies with tracking technologies. Yes, people have different ways of perceiving things and same is with tracking technologies too. Some think that GPS tracking system is pretty cool and handy. Especially with you have a vehicles or if you own a business related to cargo or transportation, then GPS vehicle tracking systems can be life saver. You can always track the status of your vehicle, and there will be very less possibility of it getting lost or stolen. So, yes it is pretty useful, isn’t it?
But some people might disagree though. They feel that GPS tracking invades the privacy of people and yes it is true to. Well, actually this is true too. If used improperly for wrong thing, the consequences can be a real pain. Like criminal’s can use this very same technology to carry out their criminal activities with effectiveness. Some employees (especially in the transportation biz) feel that they are being continuously monitored and feel as they aren’t being trusted and there is some kind of uneasiness while working. Obviously, you will feel uneasy if are being monitored 24/7, won’t you be?
So, yes GPS system are useful but as every coin has two sides, it has drawbacks too. Only a wise usage of this technology should be allowed else better avoid it.

Save Your Money With VoIP
Communication is one of the most essential things that we humans do. It’s also one of the major reasons for the growth and development of human civilization. Not that other animals don’t communicate but they don’t do it as effectively and effeciently as we do and that is why they are not as developed as we are. The level of communication has taken a big leap from past to present scenario; all thanks to technology. We have developed new ways and methods to communicate in an effective and effecient way.
Among communication also there are written, voice and visual ways of communication. Voice or audio communication is one of the most popular forms of communication. Previously humans were limited to just walkie talkies, telephones; then came mobiles and now VoIP has emerged out as one the most effecient means of communication.
VoIP stands for “Voice Over Internet Protocol” (Voice over IP) which simply means that the voice is transmitted over Internet protocol networks such as the Internet. So, if there is internet connection you are able to make calls to any corner of the world. You can skip all those hassels of traditional phone lines once you acquire a VoIP system. One of the biggest advantage is VoIP a lot cheaper than traditional phone service, especially when it comes to long distance or international calling. If you have your friends and relatives living abroad or have a business in which you need to make loads of long distance or international calls then VoIP phones are the best.
Now the problem is that there are many VoIP service providers out there if you just try to Google is out. Which one to choose from among the endless list can be a daunting task. Well, if you ask me what you’ll need for your business, then I’d refer you Vocalocity Business VoIP solution. It is an Atlanta, GA based privately held hosted VoIP services provider. But this is for a small business only not for individuals or big business houses. Vocalocity mostly target small or medium sized business.
Vocalocity’s virtual phone systems are the leaders in Voice over Internet Protocol. They replace your expensive and outdated phone system hardware and eliminates the need to buy new equipment. They are cheap but that doesn’t mean their service is of low quality. Their support system is as excellent as their quality of service and I assure you once you get it, you won’t regret it.

Its a cow wash, not a car wash!!!
See the picture? You guys might be thinking wtf? Well, its not a cow sitting in a car wash center but its a Cow Wash itself. The first ever gadget for the cows I’ve come across.
Cow wash was made by a Swedish firm DeLaval and recently reported that they’ve sold over 30,000 of this strange product of theirs in Sweden and now bringing it in UK. Seems its gaining high amount of popularity even though it may look a little strange to many. And the cows also seems to be enjoying their new gadget lol. The company has claimed that the Cow Wash boosts milk production capacity of cows by improving its blood circulation and stopping the spreding of disease.
A spokesman said the cows enjoy the sensation of being brushed and it can boost milk production by 3.5 percent. He said: ‘The swinging cow brush is a self-grooming device that keeps cows happier, healthier and more productive.”
I really doubt if that the car wash improves the productivity of the milk from the cows but as far as the happiness of the cows concerns, it sure seems to work. Check out the video below to see how this gadget really works.

Vehicle Tracking Systems-Good or bad?
The question seems stupid. I mean, of course they are good. As a matter of fact vehicle tracking systems are great, especially for big companies with fleet of trucks or some other vehicles. The companies can keep track of vehicles if something else rather than what they have planned goes by. Vehicles will never get lost from their path and even during abnormal situation can find an alternative way easily. This in turn will bring efficiency in their work.
But even with all these great features, there are people who don’t like vehicle tracking systems. Most of them are employees who have something to hide or some bad intentions against the company. Some even have a kind of feeling that they are being spied on and thus they resist such GPS tracking systems installed in their vehicles. Ya, it might seem strange but these are all facts that exist in our society. Not only do these collisions of thoughts come face to face in vehicle tracking systems but while implementing other technologies also this occurs. There are always good and bad sides of almost everything. Moreover, it’s actually totally dependent on the perception as all the people have their own views.
Bottom-line, I think vehicles tracking system is a superb technology but that just my view. If I keep boasting that in front of some employees then I might get a good round of beating. If some employer hears this, then he might hire me to get it installed and monitor their system. Everyone has their own view, what is yours?

Pay as You Go mobile broadband overtakes contract deals
It was a long time back I checked http://www.broadband-expert.co.uk/; just didn’t had time as I’m very busy with my MBA these days. I was going thru the post and there I stumbled upon quite an expected post. It was about “Pay as You Go mobile broadband overtakes contract deals”. Broadband-Expert.co.uk is one of the most leading broadband, unlimited mobile broadband, smart phone comparison site and from their figure of last year in October 2009, they have stated that consumers prefer Pay as You Go mobile broadband to contract mobile broadband these days.
“The comparison site reports that 53% of mobile broadband customers during the month opted for Pay as You Go deals compared to 47% who have taken contract deals.” - Broadband-Expert.co.uk
W
e can assume from these figures that people these days are being attracted toward pay as you go mobile broadband services as here you pay for what you do only – no pre-charges or anything as such is paid. A same kind of trend has been witnessed at T-Mobile, where the company stated that in the 3rd quarter of 2009, they saw a stabilization of the contract mobile broadband market as customers increasingly moved to the flexibility of pay-per-day tariffs compared to lengthy contracts. Prepay mobile broadband sales have now accounted for 20% of the market and have been growing at 10% a month for the last three months seeing as you can compare mobile broadband packages offered.
Contract deals or prepaids are still an idle choice for gifting purpose but then you are bounded be contrats for lengthy period and people by nature love freedom.

Hooked to Travian
Have you joined the Travian? It’s a simple browser based strategic game but the reality is more than just that. I have been hooked to what many may call a simple browser based game for a long time and I can’t seem to get out of it. People who enjoy computer games and PSP games might find it boring as there’s no attractive graphics at all in this games. It’s kinda strategic war game but there are no weapons and no blood spills. So, what’s so captivating about this game that not only me but thousands of people of all ages are addicted to it; that so many people have stopped doing anything else than playing this game.
Right now I am at my office desk and I am playing this game though it’s not allowed to be played during office time. Many times I even thought of quieting my office as I can’t what I say dedicate myself fully on Travian and my alliance is suffering from it. I’ve made few great friends thru this same and we constantly talk over Skype about strategies we need to follow to defeat out opponents. A friend of mine who actually was a sitter for me and who is more than 55 years old once said that “I love this game coz it’s given a way to pass my time. It’s different than other computer games as the opponents are real human beings and thus has endless possibilities.” The game also teaches about leadership, trust, alliance, cooperation, friendship, sacrifice, intelligence and much other stuff.
The only thing I don’t like is it takes all my time. I don’t have time to do anything else. Even second I am planning and I’m alert if someone might attack me. I have to be cautious every second. A single mistake and I (my village) might be farmed to death. Currently, I am in speed server (comx) and things happen really quickly on it. The war is about to break out and I’ve to be ready for it. My leaders are planning hard and we are following the instructions quite well till now. Hope we can rule the comx server. - Power to All

ReclaiMe–Data Recovery Software
Many times it happens that you mistakenly shift delete your files and folders. Now, if you had just pressed the delete button, then you could have easily recovered the file or folder from the recycle bin but then in this case you can’t. Similar is in the case of formatted hard drive. You can’t recover your important files from the formatted hard drive too (which you need to do sometime when your operation system crashes or also when you have virus in your computer).
What you need is a strong data recovery software that can recover data from your computer in any occasion. By any occasion I meant, for deleted file, formatted hard drives, memory cards, any types of file system (FAT, NTFS), etc. You may think it’s impossible but it’s not. All you need is ReclaiMe data recovery software and you’re problems are puff - gone. Using ReclaiMe, you can undelete files, unformat hard drives/USB, recover memory cards/mobile phones/PDAs and also recover raw file system drive (FAT/ exFAT/ NTFS doesn’t matter). This software need Windows platform to run but then it can if you attach a Mac storage device to a Windows system, ReclaiMe also recovers data from HFS (Mac OS Standard), HFS+ (Mac OS Extended), and UFS filesystems also used by Apple Mac OS X and Apple iPod players.
So, what are you waiting for? Grab a copy of this software now. It’s really handy if you’re not a typewriter user.

VoIP Service Helps You Go Crazy For
All and sundry like to have pockets full with money but is it possible if you use the traditional landline phones? No, it’s not! But it may be possible with one technology that is called VoIP. Yes, that’s true. With VoIP, one can save huge money on calling in local areas to international calls. This technology has been becoming a hot favorite of every businessman and common people due to cost saving and other attractive features. You just need a Internet connection to make waves on.
VoIP service function is just like email does functioning. There are many VoIP providers who are laced with limitless long distance calls with lower charges per month and a minute. The comparison is very vivid that a long distance call on conventional phone costs you much higher whereas the same call using VoIP phone results in very low charge.
VoIP is very safely being called the future of technology and calling. The VoIP has now been improved a lot. The providers have fastened the belts to offer attractive features to the customers but all this on very cheap rates.
Due to the heavy competition, the charges and services are being enhanced. With the below mentioned points, everyone would love to adopt VoIP:
Mammoth amount of saving comes in your pocket with the use of VoIP service. While keeping your existing phone number and making long distance calls, you still are able to save dollars. Doesn’t it entice? Ofcourse it does! With VoIP, you would not be having any strapping bills and surcharges etc on the bills come every month. Like the e-mail works flashingly, VoIP does in the same manner. One can coalesces the Internet with phone service in a monthly bill with low charges but it depends on the VoIP service company.
Since VoIP has spread like jungle’s fire everywhere and everyone knows about it, it is now easily and readily available. Those who have not converted to voice over protocol phones still they have the opportunity to do so. A user who places many calls to a specific area, then select a number from that location. Now when your pals and dears call you, it will cost on a local rate.
When you buy a VoIP, many options come with it like the ones you know and some newer to attract you. You may attend the calls on your computer during making a journey and a voicemail option can enable you to check it also. The extra features of a VoIP are that you can combine it with the PC, cellular and other gadgets. If sometimes one likes not to have any contact, VoIP service makes it possible also. Almost with every VoIP phone, the features like caller identification, call waiting, call forwarding, etc are included. There are the options like call blocking, putting ‘away’ message and showing ‘do not disturb’ available on the VoIP. This phone lets you enjoy with more features such as 3-way calling, unique rings, speed dialing and to name a few. There are some companies, which allow you to make directory and call to 911 emergency service.
It’s really cost saving for both business and residential users. Prior to making a decision, make some study about the product and the companies that offer this service. Don’t get yourself glued into a long contract. Check features and company’s worth then finalize one.
